A social media user recently shared a negative experience they had with A1 Automotive, a car repair shop. The user, who had initially chosen the service based on a friend’s recommendation, reported a series of disappointments starting from delayed service to a rude phone call and a final bill significantly higher than the initial quote. The user claimed that they were verbally abused over the phone for not paying, even though their car was still in the shop and they hadn’t been informed about the completion of the work. Despite lodging a complaint, the user received no apology. The final bill was reportedly 2.5 times the initial quote, leading to further dissatisfaction.
