School of Natural Resources Honors Community Members with October Drops of Gratitude

The October 2025 ‘Drops of Gratitude’ initiative at the School of Natural Resources (SNR) recognizes students, staff, and faculty for their contributions. This month, Lindsey Chizinski, Mike Hayes, Mark Mesarch, Musain, Larkin Powell, Christine Steggs, and Sarah Thorell received recognition for their work and support in the SNR community. The acknowledgments included professional mentorship and acts of kindness.

The program invites SNR members to participate by writing notes of thanks, called ‘drops.’ Buckets for collecting these notes are located in Hardin Hall. Specific locations include the Maps and More Store on the first floor, the second-floor hallway near Graduate Student offices, and by the elevators on the eighth and ninth floors.

Each month, the collected notes are mentioned in a community email. The notes are also displayed outside office 911 South Hardin Hall for recipients to pick up. The program aims to recognize those who contribute to the community…
