MCPHERSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Saturday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Equinox driven by Raul S Juarez, 33, Milford, Nebraska, was southbound on Interstate 135 south of Pawnee Road. The driver lost control while passing a semi due to weather conditions.
The Chevy made contact with the trailer of the semi, traveled through the median, across the northbound lanes and through a KDOT fence where it came to rest. The semi driver initially pulled over, but left the scene Juarez gave him a thumbs up, according to the KHP…
