Chimney Fire Late Saturday Morning at SE Lincoln Home

LINCOLN—(KFOR Nov. 29)—A fire late Saturday morning at a southeast Lincoln home left behind considerable damage.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 7200 block of Shamrock Road shortly after 11am. According to LFR, the fire started in the fireplace extended through chimney into attic space. Fire crews had it under control in 30 minutes.

LFR says a family of five and three dogs had to be relocated. Red cross was contacted to help the family find a place to stay…
