On December 10, undergraduate students from the Plant and Landscape Systems/Soils 153 Soil Resources course will present infographic posters on 16 Nebraska soil series at the Nebraska East Union, Great Plains Room. The event, called ‘A Tour of Nebraska Soils,’ will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. and is open to the public.
The posters are the result of a semester of study on soil formation, morphology, and land-use suitability. The course is taught by soil scientists Becky Young and Michael Kaiser.
