Teens accused of trying to sell thousands in Lincoln woman’s stolen jewelry

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two teens were arrested after trying to sell thousands in stolen jewelry on Friday, police said.

Officers were called to Riddles Jewelry in the Gateway Mall on reference to a suspicious person. According to LPD, a female teen, later identified as 18-year-old Ariana Mulloy, had brought in high-valued, possibly stolen, jewelry to sell.

An employee said Mulloy and a 15-year-old teenager came into the store asking if the store bought diamonds and gold. Court records stated the two showed the employee a ring and necklace.
