LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A woman has been accused of taking a baby from a car seat and placing the child in the driver’s lap in Lincoln.
Lincoln Police received a Crime Stoppers tip on Oct. 15, noting that two people, including 43-year-old Marlene Velazco, had driven around a 6-month-old child without a car seat while the child was behind the driver’s wheel. The tip noted that there was a Facebook video that showed the incident posted on Sept. 20 to Velazco’s profile.
The video shows a man driving a large SUV with the child sitting on the his lap holding onto the steering wheel. The vehicle is clearly moving down the street in the video…
