Lincoln man accused of making weapon threats while intoxicated

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man accused of waving a gun around while drunk and threatening a woman inside their home, was arrested after a four-hour standoff Tuesday.

Lincoln police responded to a report of a weapons violation in progress near 17th and Cheyenne streets shortly before 11 a.m.

A woman told officers that Daniel Brenneise, 47, was drunk and in possession of a gun inside their home…
