LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln Public School teacher was charged with several sex crimes after being arrested Tuesday.
Daniel Holmberg, 62, of Lincoln, was charged with four counts of sexual abuse by a school worker, two of those charges being in the second-degree and two in the third-degree.
On Dec. 2, the Lincoln Police Department was called to Northeast High School on the report of sexual abuse by a school employee after Lincoln Public Schools employees interviewed Holmberg, where he reportedly admitted to inappropriately touching students, but said his intentions weren’t sexual, the arrest affidavit shows.
