Nebraska wrestling takes down Tar Heels, prepares for Sunday test

Two weeks after No. 6 Nebraska’s 2-0 performance at the Hustle in the Heartland, the Huskers returned to their winning ways at home Friday night against No. 16 North Carolina.

Nebraska had little trouble defeating the Tar Heels, winning the dual 27-9. Timely aggression played a large part in the performance, according to head coach Mark Manning.

“Our guys wrestled pretty aggressively up and down the lineup,” Manning said. “This was a big match for us, and I’m just glad our guys came through healthy. North Carolina is a good team.”…
