LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen has appointed a new director in the Department of Health and Human Services.
In a release Friday, Pillen named Ashley Newmyer as the director of the Division of Public Health within DHHS. Newmyer has been serving as the interim director since May after the previous director, Charity Menefee, resigned.
