Classic rock heavyweights Styx and Cheap Trick have officially announced plans to join forces for a co-headlining run of dates in May 2026. The two bands, both hailing from Illinois, confirmed the partnership this week, revealing a focused, week-long itinerary that targets major venues across the Midwest.
The joint trek is scheduled to begin on May 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the Simmons Bank Arena. From there, the bands will visit Rogers, Arkansas, and Park City, Kansas, before wrapping up the brief run with shows in Camdenton, Missouri, and Lincoln, Nebraska, on May 23. This collaboration brings together two of the era’s most enduring live acts, offering fans a condensed opportunity to see them on the same bill.
While the co-headlining dates are limited, both bands have extensive touring schedules planned for the rest of the year. Cheap Trick has already locked in 21 dates for the first four months of 2026, including a run of shows at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas in April. These performances will support their well-received 2025 album, All Washed Up…
