Holiday Lights Recycling Drive Underway in Lincoln

From now through January 10th Lincoln residents will have a chance to get rid of holiday lights for a good cause. Angie Alesio is the coordinator for the 13th annual Recycle Holiday Lights Drive and tells KLIN News the program has proven to be successful.

“We are able to divert thousands of pounds of waste from local landfills.” She says copper extracted from the lights will benefit the community.
