Lincoln steps up to help decorate Friendship Home shelters for the holidays

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Friendship Home, a shelter for people looking to transition out of domestic violence situations, said it’s been able to decorate its shelter spaces for the holidays thanks to more than 100 different donors who reached out.

Last month, the nonprofit asked Lincoln for Christmas trees, garland, ornaments, lights and any other decorations they were willing to spare to help liven up the two Lincoln shelter homes and provide decorations for survivors.
