LINCOLN, Neb — Health officials in Nebraska are urging residents to ensure their vaccinations are up to date following the confirmation of recent measles cases in the state.
Kerry Kernen, health director with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, emphasized the importance of vaccination, noting that the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is approximately 97% effective against measles.
