Officers arrest alleged meth dealer in north Lincoln after finding suspected meth in his car

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Police have arrested one man after finding nearly 2.5 pounds of suspected meth in north Lincoln, according to court records.

On Friday, investigators with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force were following a vehicle on Interstate 80 toward Lincoln during ongoing narcotics investigation.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the investigators were aware that 53-year-old Pedro Serpa, who owned and usually drove that vehicle, was reportedly involved in selling methamphetamine. They then followed Serpa in his vehicle back to his house in north Lincoln.

Investigators then contacted Serpa as he got out of the vehicle, and saw a large baggie containing what they suspected as meth sitting in an open plastic shopping bag on the front passenger seat…
