LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department said it has seen a decline in reports of crypto scams in the last two years.
According to data from LPD, crypto scam reports decreased from 133 cases in 2024 to 127 in 2025.
However, total losses in crypto scams increased from $3.1 million in 2024 to $4.4 million in 2025. LPD said each victim lost an average of almost $35,000 last year…
