Stolen Money from Omaha ATM Found in North Lincoln Traffic Stop

LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 9)–Members of the Criminal Interdiction Unit on Wednesday afternoon arrested three men from Texas, for their alleged involvement in an ATM robbery in Omaha.

Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Houchin says once the traffic stop was made along westbound Interstate 80 near 56th Street, investigators could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. After getting consent to search, three backpacks full of cash worth about $140,000 were found. Houchin said the suspects will be extradited back to Omaha to face additional charges…
