Lincoln man arrested in Grand Island after alleged Snapchat contact with 14‑year‑old

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – A Lincoln man who police say used Snapchat to contact someone who identified themselves as a 14-year-old was arrested by Grand Island officers in early January and now faces multiple felony charges.

Court records show 28-year-old Brady J. Wilson was taken into custody Jan. 9 after investigators say a Snapchat account using the display name “Brady” and the username “Sparky_1919” exchanged sexually explicit messages with a person who identified as a minor.

According to a probable cause statement filed by the Grand Island Police Department, police say an investigator, posing as the 14‑year‑old, engaged in the online conversations as part of the investigation.
