LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN/Gray News) — Police in Nebraska said they were called to a hospital earlier this month after a 12-year-old boy was brought in weighing just 47 pounds.
Lincoln police said officers were called to Bryan Medical Center West Campus on Jan. 12.
Court records show that the boy’s legal guardian told authorities she had been sick a few weeks prior and assumed that the child had the same illness. She brought him to the hospital when he became too weak to walk, police said…
