LINCOLN, Neb — Lincoln Public Schools announced that Trisha Lind will become the next principal at Mickle Middle School, starting July 1, 2026. Lind, currently the associate principal at Standing Bear High School, will take over from Jason Shanahan, who is moving to Goodrich Middle School. Lind has been with Standing Bear since 2022, helping to open the school in 2023. Her previous roles include associate principal and student services coordinator at Park Middle School, as well as instructional coach positions at Park and Irving Middle Schools. Lind has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social sciences, master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction and an educational leadership master’s degree, and is pursuing an educational specialist degree from Doane University…
