Lincoln Man Sentenced to 30 Years on Drug Charge

A 48-year-old Lincoln man was sentenced to decades behind bars on Thursday in federal court in Lincoln for one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams of methamphetamine actual with one prior conviction.

United States District Judge Susan M. Bazis sentenced Jamaal McNeil, to 30 years in prison. McNeil was convicted of selling methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana in Lincoln for at least six months in 2023.

Lincoln Police contacted McNeil in his vehicle on November 29, 2023. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted due to the smell of marijuana. Investigators found multiple plastic baggies.
