Nebraska students awarded $2,500 scholarships for business excellence

LINCOLN, Neb — The NE Chamber Foundation has awarded $2,500 tuition scholarships to six outstanding Nebraska college students majoring in business-related fields. The recipients, recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement, include Jacie Ambrose from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Andrew Heckman from Hastings College, Will Blatchford and Lillian Johnson from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Maddock Oberzan from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and Arabelle Horst from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

To qualify, students must be sophomores or juniors in a business-related field, demonstrate leadership in extracurricular activities, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Since 1997, the NE Chamber Foundation has awarded over $280,000 in scholarships to more than 135 students across Nebraska.

“These students embody the talent and promise that will guide Nebraska’s business community forward,” said NE Chamber Foundation President Tera Norris. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to support them and look forward to seeing the difference they’ll make in communities across Nebraska.”…
