LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – An unusually warm pattern will dominate the forecast through Wednesday, with temperatures climbing well above what we typically see in mid-February. Highs will climb into the mid 60s to mid 70s — a stark contrast to normal seasonal highs in the low 40s. Meanwhile patchy to dense fog is possible overnight tonight.
Record Highs Possible Monday and Tuesday
70s are forecast both Monday and Tuesday with the forecast a couple degrees from the record in either direction. Regardless, this is spring weather coming early once again. It’s the perfect weather to open the windows and go outside.
Rain Chances Increase Midweek
While precipitation chances remain low through most of the period, rain becomes possible Tuesday and Wednesday as a system moves through. Any rain that develops should be light.
