LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -There wasn’t an open seat at Spikes Beach Bar & Grille in Lincoln on Saturday afternoon, as each one was taken by a member of the 65 different teams competing in ALS In The Heartland’s third annual Puzzles & Pints.
“Teams of four racing to complete 500-piece exclusive ALS In The Heartland puzzle,” Tammy Stazler, the Executive Director of ALS In The Heartland, said. “As well as drink 12 beverages of their choice and complete a pizza pan size tray of nachos.”
With a collective ceremonial cracking of the cans, the hundreds racing to complete all three first were off, pacing chip, drink and puzzle piece and taking on different strategies…
