Central Nebraska Humane Society helps place 92 cats from Lincoln hoarding case

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Central Nebraska Humane Society has stepped in to assist the Capital Humane Society in placing the 92 cats that were recently rescued from a hoarding situation at a Lincoln home.

On Jan. 30, Lincoln Animal Control conducted an annual multi-cat household permit inspection at a northeast Lincoln home and observed several violations.

Authorities rescued 92 cats from the home. According to the shelter, two dead cats were also found inside the home…
