LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – HobbyTown in Lincoln is celebrating 80 years in business this weekend, and owners Dan Schmidt and Chelsy are marking 20 years of ownership at the same time.
The store opened in 1946. Dan and Chelsy bought it in 2006, the same year Dan had already been working there for several years — starting as a sales clerk at 18 years old.
