LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Missouri man was arrested Saturday for possessing drugs and a handgun in Lincoln, according to police.
A traffic stop occurred at 9:06 p.m. near North 17th and Q streets after an officer saw a driver make an improper turn, causing a pedestrian to move to avoid being struck.
While speaking with the driver, 25-year-old Carter Ottmann, the officer reported smelling burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Ottmann told the officer he was heading to The Royal Grove and did not have his documents with him.
