Convicted murderer dies at Lincoln’s Reception and Treatment Center

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – An inmate at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services’ Reception and Treatment Center has died.

Lonnie Patman, 77, died Tuesday. His sentence began Jan. 27, 1987. He was serving a life sentence out of Douglas County for first-degree murder, according to the Nebraska Department of Corrections.

While the cause of death has not yet been determined, Patman was being treated for a medical condition, officials said…
