Lincoln Crime Stoppers seek suspects in Gateway Mall tablet theft, Brewsky’s break-in

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects who recently attempted, and one succeeded, in stealing property from local businesses.

The first case happened Jan. 25 at Auntie Anne’s pretzel store at Gateway Mall after the business reported that their cash register tablet was taken from the business.

While reviewing video footage, officers observed a white male in his 30s or 40s checking out an iPad at the front of the store and manipulating it until he eventually stuffed it under his jacket and took it with him.

Police said the man was wearing a ball cap and glasses along with a hoodie with a left chest design on it…
