Lincoln Man Accused in Killings of Two Stromsburg Residents to go to Trial

LINCOLN–(KFOR Mar. 3)–The man suspected of killing a Stromsburg couple and their unborn child will head to trial.

Last Friday, court documents were filed indicating that 24-year-old Sterling James of Lincoln waived a preliminary hearing in Lancaster County Court and he will go to trial in Lancaster County District Court. James is scheduled to be arraigned on March 25. He’s charged with two counts of first-degree murder, first-degree murder of an unborn child and tampering with evidence. James is being held without bond and he could face the death penalty.
