Man charged after police find 5 pounds of meth, $28,000 in cash in Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man was arrested and charged after investigators found five pounds of methamphetamine and $20,000 in a Lincoln home on Tuesday, court documents show.

William Finley, 60, of Lincoln, was arraigned in Lancaster County Court on Wednesday and charged with possession of more than 140 grams of methamphetamine and possession of money while violating a drug statute. His bond was set at 10 percent of $500,000.

Lincoln police investigators had been conducting surveillance on Finley’s apartment building near 12th and F streets as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Court documents show police had information that Finley had been selling methamphetamine from his apartment…
