Autopsy ordered for body of middle-aged man found along Lincoln creek

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department said an autopsy has been ordered for a body that was discovered along Oak Creek on Tuesday.

Police officers were called to Oak Creek near the Sandhills Global Youth Complex around 12:52 p.m. after receiving a report of a body in the water. Officers confirmed Wednesday the body was of a middle-aged man.

According to police, workers with the Lower Platte Natural Resources District were doing cleanup along the creek when they spotted a body in the water…
