LINCOLN—(KFOR Mar. 14)—A 20-year-old man died after he had fallen inside the sewer system and hit his head early Saturday morning in a Havelock neighborhood.
Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called shortly after 3am to the area of 65th and Logan, where officers found the man, along with two other people, several hundreds of yards within the sewer system. LPD says despite efforts from emergency personal, the man died at the scene.
A preliminary investigation shows the group of three males were in the sewer system, when the victim tried to climb out. He fell from the ladder system, suffering a severe head injury…
