LPD To Increase Impaired Driving Enforcement for St. Patrick’s Day

LINCOLN–(KFOR Mar. 14)–As St. Patrick’s Day celebrations approach, the Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is reminding the community that “luck” should not be your plan for getting home safely.

Through March 21, 2026, LPD will conduct a high-visibility enforcement campaign specifically targeting impaired drivers. During this time, LPD will deploy additional officers on overtime to patrol Lincoln’s streets and proactively identify drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
