NEBRASKA — Nebraska State Patrol troopers responded to more than 40 weather-related incidents during Sunday’s winter storm as blizzard-like conditions swept across the state.
Troopers investigated six crashes, performed 43 motorist assists and helped other agencies with six responses on Sunday.
One of the crashes turned fatal in Lancaster County. At about 3:32 p.m. Sunday, troopers, with assistance from the Malcom Fire Department and the Seward County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a crash on Highway 34 near mile marker 315.
