LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Children’s Zoo has unveiled the name of its rare female Matschie’s tree kangaroo born in 2025.
The zoo said Tuesday that the joey was named Samala after a village birth attendant (VBA) in Papua New Guinea.
