Nebraska has now created the destruction of Troy yet again as the Huskers absolutely demolished the Trojans 76-47 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. After a bit of a slow start, guard Pryce Sandfort put the cape on for Nebraska and was an absolutely sharp-shooter from the floor, especially from beyond the arc.
It felt like nothing Troy did was going to stop the Huskers from making program history and getting their first win in the NCAA Tournament. Even Tory head coach Scott Cross has to give Nebraska it’s flower, admitting that the Huskers were simply unstoppable and the the Big Red crowd was unbelieveable.
“They are really really freaking good,” Cross said in his post game press conference. “The way they shoot the basketball and the way they defend.”…
