LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln police are investigating a burglary that happened at a Mexican grocery store early Wednesday morning.
Just before 3:45 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at Lobo City Mex, located near North 27th and Q streets, after a passerby noticed a broken glass door.
Upon arrival, officers found the front door broken in by a large brick, police said. A jewelry display case inside had been broken into and most of its contents were taken, according to LPD.
Officers said the total estimated loss is at least $5,000 in damage, including $3,000 to fix the door, $2,000 in stolen jewelry and likely another $1,000 to fix the glass case…
