LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A suspect in a 1990 double murder from Houston was arrested in Lincoln on Wednesday.
The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division detectives and FBI special agents took 64-year-old Floyd William Parrott into custody, according to the City of Houston. He is in the Lancaster County Jail awaiting extradition.
Parrott is charged with two counts of capital murder in Texas in connection with the killings of 22-year-old Cheryl Henry and 21-year-old Andrew Atkinson.
HPD said that on Aug. 23, 1990, a security guard was conducting a routine patrol when he noticed a vehicle parked in a cul-de-sac.
