Case continued for Lincoln murder suspect in triple-homicide case

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The case has been continued for the Lincoln murder suspect accused of killing his half-brother, his wife and their unborn child.

Court records show that 24-year-old Sterling James was scheduled to be arraigned in Lancaster County District Court on Wednesday, but the hearing was continued to April 24.

James is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, first-degree murder of an unborn child and tampering with evidence. He is being held without bond, and his murder charges carry the potential for the death penalty…
