LINCOLN – Ayden Papstein collected three hits in four at bats while Maddox Magnussen added three runs himself as Norfolk cruised to an 11-1 win over Lincoln High on Monday, moving to 2-4 on the year and picking up their second conference win in the process.
The Panthers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning after Papstein drove in a run on an RBI triple, Alex Makshantsev produced an RBI via a sac fly, a run scored on an error, and Magnussen drove in two of a single to second.
