The Stanton County Sheriff’s office was dispatched on Thursday afternoon to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 15, about seven miles south of Pilger.
According to Sheriff Mike Unger, the accident occurred when a southbound SUV attempted to pass a southbound semi, lost control, drove into the east ditch, was sent airborne, rolled over a fence and continued to roll four more times before coming to rest in a corn field.
