A Friday morning crash near the east side of the Nebraska Wesleyan campus sent one person to the hospital. Lincoln Police say the collision happened around 8:40 a.m. at 56th Street and Huntington.
Investigators say a 75-year-old man was traveling southbound on 56th in a Toyota Camry when a westbound Nissan Versa ran a stop sign and entered the intersection. The impact sent the Versa off the road, where it hit a sign and rolled over.
Emergency crews removed the 27-year-old driver from the vehicle and transported her to Bryan West with what officers described as a possible non-life-threatening head injury. According to police, the woman said she had just dropped her brother off at school and was on her way to work…
