LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A controlled burn is being conducted in Pioneers Park Tuesday morning.
Lincoln Parks and Recreation said the controlled burn is taking place on about five acres near the bison viewing area west of the Pioneers Park Nature Center. It will last until noon.
The park road will be closed just east of the Bison Loop until 5 p.m. Access to the Pioneers Park Nature Center will remain open. The community is advised to avoid the area during this project…
