Racing & Gaming Commission suspends Fonner Park trainer for one year over substances

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Fonner Park trainer has been suspended for 1 year by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission after a horse tested positive for a prohibited substance.

According to the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission, on Feb. 14, Anderson was the trainer for a five-year-old mare named “Goldies Claim,” which raced at Fonner Park that day.
