A long-time dream is about to become reality for one Lincoln nonprofit. Clyde Malone Center CEO John Goodwin tells KLIN News they’re preparing to open the doors to a brand-new $23 million facility.
A grand opening is set for May 6th at 4:30 p.m. near 22nd and U Street. Goodwin says the new 64,000 square foot creative space is designed to serve kids, families, and the community, while also allowing the organization to grow its programs and impact in the years ahead.
Goodwin expects the new facility is a place where kids and families can see a bright future for themselves on their journey to breaking that cycle of multigenerational poverty. “This is a place where you’re going to learn how to thrive,” Goodwin says…
