Lincoln man accused of causing over $14,000 in damages to Voluntary Crisis Response Center

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man has been accused of causing over $14,000 in damages to the Voluntary Crisis Response Center after reportedly throwing rocks at the building on Sunday.

Around 9 p.m., officers with the Lincoln Police Department were dispatched to the Voluntary Crisis Response Center on the report of vandalism.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with an employee who said he was inside the building when he saw a man throwing a rock through the window of the building.

The employee told police that after he attempted to approach the suspect, who was known to him, the suspect threatened him with the rock in his hand, according to the arrest affidavit…
