After a stellar regular season, Nebraska softball is heading into the postseason on an 18-game win streak and hopes to ride it all the way to the National Championship series. The 2026 season was very kind to the Huskers, who only dropped one game in Big Ten play, finishing 43-6 overall.
Now it is time for conference play, and Nebraska has put itself in a great spot, earning the No. 1 overall seed. This means not only will the Huskers have a first-round bye, but they theoretically should have the easiest path to the Championship.
