LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA), in partnership with the Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) and the Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA), is launching CAREfair Nebraska 2026, a first of its kind, statewide series of job fairs and career pathway events scheduled for May 11–15 during National Hospital Week.
From Omaha to Scottsbluff, CAREfair Nebraska will feature 10 in-person events across the state held with public workforce system partners, including the Nebraska Department of Labor (NDOL), Heartland Workforce Solutions, the City of Lincoln, Equus Workforce Solutions, University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and more. Events are free and open to the public, and job seekers are encouraged to attend one or multiple locations to discover the full range of health care careers available and find where their skills fit.
“CAREfair Nebraska is unique because it connects job seekers with health care employers and educators in a coordinated way that hasn’t been seen before,” said Jeremy Nordquist, President and CEO of the Nebraska Hospital Association. “This is a field that needs people with all kinds of skills, from patient care to IT, finance, operations and beyond. CAREfair Nebraska gives people the opportunity to meet employers, explore different paths and see how their background can translate into a meaningful career in health care.”…
